Use CoatRack to offer your software service APIs to developers via a trusted framework for service monetization and access control.

Architecture

The following figure shows a typical architecture. The calls to your software service API are routed and logged by a custom CoatRack Gateway, which you can install in your local network. Configuration and statistics are accessible via the CoatRack website.

First steps

These are the main steps to offer your service via CoatRack:

1. Sign up and create your CoatRack user account
2. Configure your service offering via the CoatRack website
   • Define service access permissions
   • Define monetization approach
3. Download your own customized CoatRack gateway application
4. Install and run gateway inside your network
5. Create service API keys for your customers, allowing them to access your service
6. See statistics about usage of your services and money earned

Get Started

To get started with CoatRack :

1. Please click here to sign up/in with your GitHub account.
2. After signing in, you will be redirected to the CoatRack administration panel.
3. Then you can setup your first service offering and gateway.
